Space of Resistance is a deep dive into the radical heart of European Squat Culture, exploring its unique blend of political activism and performative nature. Created as part of my master’s degree, this zine examines how squats across Europe serve not only as reclaimed physical spaces but as thriving hubs for resistance and community. Through first-hand accounts, historical context, and visual storytelling, Space of Resistance highlights the artistry, challenges, and resilience of those who use squatting as both a lifestyle and a protest against housing inequality and gentrification.
